Married at First Sight intimacy tips

Let’s take a bit of a closer look at some of the intimacy tips popping up on this season of MAFS Australia. It’s worth a recap because these kinds of tips are related to our previous post on reigniting the sexual spark in your relationships

Alessandra Rampolla is the MAFS expert in charge and she’s a certified clinical sexologist with over 20 years’ experience.

In the past week we have watched the couples do:

• the 3-minute eye gaze

• the 3-minute melting hug

• genital cupping

• a bit of dressing up with the addition of food (mostly whipped cream)

• and the old intimacy box full of sex toys.

Genital cupping is where the fully clothed couple is instructed to stand face to face, and lightly cup the other’s genitals while gazing into their eyes in a bid to become more vulnerable with the other.

In previous seasons they have also had extended laughing and 5-minutes of uninterrupted listening.

The couples have also been presented with a list of sexual activities they can say ‘yes’, ‘no’, or ‘maybe’ to and then compare notes with their spouse.
